A Moment Never to Forget

In 2017, I had gone to check on a friend’s father who was very sick.

I found a lady who had just lost a mother in the next hospital bed.  It was few minutes after losing her mother and tears were still flowing through her eyes.

I saw her get on her knees, cry louder and stand up, then she moved and gave a big hug to the nurse that was taking care of her late mother.

What she said is what touched me most “Thank you for taking care of my mother and for being gentle and kind with her despite what she was going through.”  In deep sorrow, she still had the will to be grateful.

How many of us would still have the courtesy to offer this kind of gesture?
